Magnaflux EV6000

The EV6000 LED UV lamp is a portable, hand-held UV lamp for fluorescent non-destructive testing applications like fluorescent penetrant testing and fluorescent magnetic particle inspections.

The EV6000 features a uniform beam with no hot-spots and a 9 in / 23 cm wide beam, 33% wider than the next widest hand-held UV lamp in the industry.

Custom-designed optics provide intense and even UV-A coverage of UV-A to easily identify indications, and an integrated filter ensures minimal visible light emission to improve inspection reliability.

The EV6000 is certified to NDT standards for LED UV lamps and certified for Aerospace Prime and OEM specifications for emission spectrum and beam profile. Each unit is shipped with a manufacturer’s certificate of conformance which meets or exceeds all current specifications for use with fluorescent liquid penetrant and magnetic particle testing.

Magnaflux EV6000

The EV6500 is a hand-held, portable LED UV lamp with built-in white light LEDs for non-destructive testing applications like fluorescent penetrant testing and fluorescent magnetic particle inspections.

Designed with broad-beam profile for in-line and hand-held use, the EV6500 will decrease inspection time by improving indication visibility with 7,000 μW/cm2 high intensity UV-A illumination and the widest coverage area in its class.

To improve NDT inspection flexibility, the EV6500 has easy-on visible light LEDs for visible flaw location, eliminating the need for a separate flashlight. The white light LEDs provide a large, concentrated flood of visible light of over 150 ft-candles.

M-Series

Mobile Power Packs Electromagnetic Current Generators for AC or HWDC Magnetization

The M-Series mobile power pack portable current generators facilitate testing of large and abnormally heavy parts with magnetic particle inspection. Magnaflux understands some parts cannot be moved so the magnetizing station needs to be brought to the part. The M-Series offers a solution by providing an adaptable mobile unit. These units feature AC or Half Wave DC output.

M-Series magnetic power packs are available in three configurations: M-2030, M-2040 and M-2060.

Multi-Directional Magnetic Wet Benches for AC, HWDC or 1-Phase FWDC Magnetization

The MD-Series multi-directional magnetic bench offers Alternating Current, Half Wave Direct Current and 1-phase Full Wave Direct Current for time-saving multidirectional magnetization which can find defects in all orientations with one mag-cycle.

The two outputs (contact and Flux Flow coil) each offer AC, HWDC or 1-Phase FWDC, and are independently adjustable to balance the magnet field intensity.

Pie Gauge

The Pie Gauge is a tool for quickly verifying the direction of magnetic flux on a surface. It is made from eight ferrous segments, braised into a single piece, providing a star pattern of nonferrous discontinuities. Typically used with dry powders for yoke inspection, the Pie Gauge can be held at any angle and will generate indications perpendicular to the direction of the magnetic flux. A similar test gauge, the Berthold Penetrameter, uses four instead of eight ferrous sections and is commonly used in Europe.
